GustoMSC congratulates the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team on becoming the first-ever fully hydrogen-powered boat to sail across the North Sea to England – a huge achievement! After 169 km of sailing, they have arrived at the harbour in Ramsgate! Their successful voyage showcases the future of sustainable maritime technology. Well done to everyone involved! We are proud to have supported this incredible journey. #HydroMotion #HydrogenPowered #Sustainability #Innovation #GustoMSC
Yesterday evening, we reached our final destination Ramsgate, making history by becoming the first ever fully hydrogen-powered boat to cross the North Sea! We left in the morning from Breskens harbour in the Netherlands. Shortly after departure, however, we ran into some technical difficulties with a broken cooling pump. Being unable to fix this on sea, we made a short pit stop at the harbour of Zeebrugge so that our land crew could assist us in replacing this part, before quickly sailing back out to sea! After this we enjoyed a long trip on the open waters with some minor technical problems, which we were all able to solve remotely from our support vessel or by the pilots themselves. After sailing 169,1 kilometres with only 12,3 kilograms of hydrogen, we met up with our land crew again, who drove approximately 250 kilometres along the coast. Finally, we arrived at 22:40 local time at Ramsgate Royal Harbour. We are so proud of what we have achieved, and are so grateful to everyone who has supported us this year to make this goal possible! #TUDelftHydroMotionTeam #HydroMotion #HydroMotionTeam #TUDelft #boat #hydrogen #hydrogenboat #sustainable #sustainability #hydrofoiling #hydrofoil #hydrofoils #innovation #students #challengethefuture #dreamteam #CrossingtheNorthSea

Wind Orca and Wind Osprey ready for the future of offshore renewable energy! The crane replacement project for Cadeler's Wind Orca and Wind Osprey reflects our commitment to support our customers in staying competitive in the offshore wind industry. In a matter of months, we successfully upgraded two vessels with state-of-the-art 1600 mt GustoMSC cranes, priming them for next-generation wind turbine installation. This achievement was made possible through a collaborative effort involving GustoMSC, Cadeler, and Mammoet. Curious about the process behind such a project? 👉 Watch the project video below. #HeavyLifting #OffshoreWind #EnergyTransition #OffshoreEngineering

We had the pleasure of participating in the Maritime Match Day (MMD) on May 29th, 2024. This fantastic event, organized by the student association S.G. "William Froude" of the Maritime Technology study at Delft University of Technology, provided an excellent platform for students to meet and network with leading companies in the maritime industry. It was inspiring to see so many enthusiastic students showing interest in graduation projects. We look forward to potentially welcoming some of these talented individuals to GustoMSC for their graduation projects in the coming months. A big thank you to William Froude and TU Delft for hosting such a successful event! #MaritimeMatchDay #MaritimeTechnology #TUDelft #Networking #GustoMSC #FutureTalent
