Cadeler Powers Borkum Riffgrund 3: A Milestone in Offshore Wind Energy   We’re thrilled to announce that Cadeler, in collaboration with Ørsted, is playing a pivotal role in installing Germany’s largest offshore wind farm, Borkum Riffgrund 3. Located off the coast of Lower Saxony, this offshore windfarm will have an installed capacity of 913 MW, powering million German households. This marks the first time an offshore wind farm will not feature a substation and instead will be directly connected to an offshore converter platform (DolWin 5). Our state-of-the-art vessel, Wind Osprey, is ensuring the efficient deployment of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines with an impressive 11 MW capacity. Cadeler signs firm contract for the installation of 72 15MW wind turbines at Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm using one of Cadeler’s state-of-the-art newbuild M-class wind turbine installation vessels Today Cadeler A/S announces the signing of a firm contract with Inch Cape Offshore Limited for the installation of 72 Vestas 15MW offshore wind turbines at Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. The contract value is projected to fall within the range of EUR 114 - 130 million, with installation due to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026. This project illustrates Cadeler’s commitment to expanding its partner portfolio, while strengthening and diversifying its contract backlog. Located 15 kilometres off the East Coast of Scotland in the North Sea, Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm will generate enough energy to power the equivalent of approximately 1.6 million UK households. For the successful execution of this project, Cadeler will utilize one of its two state-of-the-art newbuild M-class installation vessels. The overall duration of the project is estimated to be around 249 days. Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Cadeler, said: "This contract once again illustrates the increasing demand for our new build state-of-the-art vessels and our commitment to expanding our partner portfolio, while strengthening our overall contract backlog. Cadeler celebrating Women in Engineering: we don't just hope for a brighter future – we build it!   This year, on June 23, we proudly join the global celebration of International Women in Engineering Day, shining a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of women engineers who are shaping a brighter future for all of us.   On this occasion, we would like to introduce one of our inspiring engineers: Willemijn Botman.   After graduating from TU Delft in 2019, Willemijn embarked on an exciting journey with Cadeler in Denmark as a Project Engineer and later as a Project Manager. Over the past 4.5 years, she has been a pivotal part of various WTG T&I and FOU T&I projects, excelling in both the engineering and execution phases.   Willemijn thrives on the diverse tasks her role offers, from feasibility checks and detailed document reviews to hands-on project preparation onboard vessels.
