Lynn Wyatt Square for the Performing Arts designed by RIOS has been selected as a Finalist in Fast Company's 2024 Innovation by Design Awards in the Urban Design category. Gradient Group designed a 1,200-foot concrete sidewalk along Tournament Trails from Walden Forest Drive to West Lake Houston Parkway, significantly enhancing safety for Atascocita Middle School students. The project also included constructing 450 linear feet of sidewalk on Lake Houston Parkway from Tournament Trails to Atascocita Middle School and 170 linear feet connecting an internal path from Tournament Trails to the school property. This initiative, undertaken in collaboration with Harris County Precinct 2 highlights a dedication to ensuring student safety and enhancing community well-being. #GradientGroup #StudentSafety #Sidewalk #ProjectHighlight

Thrilled to have provided Site/Civil Engineering services for the groundbreaking Dr. Shannon Walker Neighborhood Library for the City of Houston! In partnership with BRAVE/architecture, we developed the 2.5-acre site with a 23,000 sq ft building, hailed as “the most advanced library of its kind”. From podcast and recording studios to a children's room, teen space, and even a futuristic café with robotic vending machines, this library has it all.
