💊 Build a medical analysis app with Palmyra-Med! 💊 Check out this real-world use case demo app I built using Writer Framework, our open-source Python framework, and Palmyra-Med, our specialized LLM for the medical industry. The app simulates a chat between a doctor and a patient and can do two magical things with the click of a button: 💡 Automated SOAP notes creation: Turn hours of doctors' manual work into seconds, generating Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) notes from the doctor-patient chat history. 🚀 ICD-10 code extraction: Use the chat history and the SOAP notes to quickly classify symptoms and diagnoses, streamlining processes that typically take hours. Feel free to swap out the simulated chat with your own embedded chat. You can either use an iFrame or use your API with the Chatbot component. I had a lot of fun building this one. I’ve been reading Baseten’s articles on TensorRT-LLM and going through their awesome workshop at AI Engineer World's Fair run by Pankaj Gupta and Philip Kiely. Here’s what I've learned about TensorRT-LLM & how it can be transformative for deploying LLMs: 💡TensorRT-LLM optimizes LLMs for production, focusing on high performance across NVIDIA GPUs. 🚀 It executes neural network computation graphs with optimized CUDA instructions, improving inference speed and resource management. 🛠️ Its plugin mechanism lets you run custom operations in the graph — great for specific model needs. 📊 It supports a wide range of GPUs and delivers top-notch performance metrics.  🧗♂️ But it also has a steep learning curve and requires detailed knowledge of the production environment. And models must be built on the intended hardware. I'm motivated to learn more about this because we worked together with Baseten to create secure, private, high-performance deployments for Palmyra-Med and Palmyra-Fin, the latest LLMs from Writer.
