Fuse made history when we fired TITAN, a first-of-its kind pulsed power driver. This groundbreaking pulsed power driver represents a significant advancement in fusion energy technology, offering improved efficiency, compactness, and cost-effectiveness compared to existing systems. This video by Anson Yu captures the moments of TITAN's first successful firing, showcasing the culmination of the Fuse team's relentless dedication to engineering and scientific excellence. https://lnkd.in/gR9JfNMw cc JC B. Fuse has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with Sandia National Laboratories to accelerate the development of next-generation pulsed power technologies.    This collaboration aims to enhance nuclear deterrence capabilities and advance fusion energy research. Fuse has already demonstrated over 100 successful shots on TITAN, which is the world’s first Impedance-Matched Marx Generator (IMG) pulsed power driver of its kind. Daniel Sinars, Director of the Pulsed Power Sciences at Sandia, commented, “Our purpose at Sandia is to support our nation’s nuclear weapons stockpile in the absence of underground testing through exceptional science and engineering… When Fuse Federal approached us with a proposal to jointly advance pulsed power technology and fusion science, we saw an opportunity to improve Sandia’s capabilities for stewardship science.”    JC B., CEO of @Fuse, stated, “On the heels of our successful demonstration of TITAN, partnering with Sandia marks the next big milestone for Fuse Federal. The technology that will propel us to fusion energy is the same technology that can be used now to ensure U.S. strategic deterrence. We’re proud to contribute to U.S. national security while also advancing our mission to achieve clean, reliable fusion energy.”    The Honorable Lisa Gordon-Hagerty, former Under Secretary for Nuclear Security, U.S. Department of Energy and Administrator, NNSA remarked,   "Fuse’s approach enables the public and private sector to leverage each other to accelerate the modernization of the U.S. nuclear enterprise akin to how commercial space launch companies modernized access to space for both government and industry"    This partnership marks a significant step towards developing fusion energy and strengthening U.S. strategic deterrence capabilities.    Read the Press Release here: https://lnkd.in/g4aDgTtM    cc. CEO | Founder @ Fuse

9 months ago we live-streamed (https://lnkd.in/esaWvXrf) and fired the first shot on TITAN - the world’s first and highest power driver of its kind. Today, our experimental results are peer-reviewed and published in Springer Nature Group: https://lnkd.in/ehjUkmQ4 We fired 100+ shots to show a new technology (IMG) that’s 90% energy efficient, can fire at 0.1 Hz, has >10,000 shots lifetime, and is mass manufacturable cost-effectively for scale. IMGs are game changing given they are 2x higher efficiency, 3x more compact, at least 5x cheaper, and have 1,000x higher lifetime than the current state of the art. Incredibly proud of the Fuse team that works incredibly hard and has the courage to build in public. We deliver.

CEO at Plymouth — making U.S. immigration fast and simple for top talent

“I want to build fusion-powered rockets — how do I start?" At only age 9, JC B. was working in a physics lab in Lebanon, sparked by his curiosity to understand the universe. The professor put it bluntly: "You need to immigrate". It was in this exchange that JC learned that to build something big, he had to move west. Over a decade later, JC is the founder of Fuse which is working to produce fusion power at scale in America. Read more about JC's journey here: https://lnkd.in/gR_Czz9p. We're launching customer stories in Plymouth, where we're sharing profiles of the next generation of immigrant builders accelerating tech progress in the United States. Our hope is that by sharing these stories, we'll inspire more talented immigrants to build the future. If this sounds like you, reach out.
