About us
Food for Hope is a non-profit organization serving Adams County, Colorado. Our mission is to empower and strengthen the future of our communities by providing nutritious food to children in need. Each student enrolled within the school districts we serve receives nutritional assistance throughout the school year. Research indicates that even mild malnutrition experienced by young children during critical periods of growth impacts their behavior, school performance, and overall cognitive development. There are thousands of children in Adams County alone that are not receiving enough to eat. The programs of Food for Hope include weekend food bags, School Fuel snacks, and in-school food bank locations. Check out our website to connect, volunteer, donate, or learn more about our organization: https://foodforhope.net/

Food for Hope has been supporting Westminster Public Schools in a special food program where we pack and distribute Unhoused Student and Family Food Boxes. Each box contains easy-to-make meals and a bag of fresh items. During the 2023 to 2024 school year, we proudly distributed a total of 740lbs of food to Westminster Public Schools. As we approach the 2024 to 2025 school year, we look forward to growing and serving more students and families at their school. City of Westminster.

In the fall of 2021, Food for Hope started supporting Pinnacle Charter School. Within Pinnacle Charter School's Event Center, we established one of our in-school food banks, Timby's Tienda, which provides essential support to local students and their families. A unique feature of this food bank is that families can order their food online, and volunteers then pack and distribute the orders to students and families each week. We are immensely grateful to have this beautiful space at The Event Center inside Pinnacle.
