Our colleague Christina Walker shared her experience today with our team to close out the week. THIS is why we do what we do. I was following up with one of my patients to provide her a financial estimate before I started her auth (she requested this). This women was a bit timid when I called her but after talking with her she took the deepest breathe and said “I thought I was going to have to live the rest of my life walking on egg shells because I couldn’t afford to pay for this treatment and her bones would just have to remain fragile. “ 🥺 Needless to say she kept thanking me for just following up with her and what got me was this part. She said “ I did something a kid would do for their parent and that’s something I don’t have” I had to share this because just one small act of kindness means the world to a lot of our patients 😇 Have a good weekend ! Thank you Christina Walker for your generosity and just being your true self. You’re appreciated.
