Faculty Highlight: Nicki Fraser Ph.D. , Assistant Teaching Professor & Assistant Chair for the Department of Public Policy and Administration at the FIU Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs . She is also an Affiliate Faculty for the FIU Maurice A. Ferré Institute for Civic Leadership, Notable Global Learning & COIL Affiliated Faculty, and PAA Honor Society Adviser. Dr. Nicki Fraser is the current President of the ASPA South Florida Chapter. She was speaking on the importance of ASPA at the ASPA Annual Awards Luncheon on June 8, 2024. The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) is a professional association dedicated to promoting excellence in public service. We are so proud of our faculty and the impact they make in our student’s lives. From Dr. Fraser: We try to get our public servants before they enter the public service. So, what does that mean? We try to get them in their undergrad, grad, and Ph.D. degrees. So that we can mentor, coach, develop, and help them in their professional as well as academic careers. So, we have many resources and opportunities to network and to learn from each other and from professionals all around the country because ASPA is a global organization all over the world.
