Back after Day 2 and 20+ more demos at Finovate SF.
Sharing again my top company picks out of this batch (2 risk/compliance related). Thanks to all that took the time to demo, attendees, and connections on the side.
Finalytics AI Targeted bank websites using variations of pictures, on screen text, and dynamic product offerings this is truly a way for community banks and credit unions to compete with larger banks that have massive marketing budgets and in-house digital capabilities. Finalytics uses real time information, by combining external data, such as browser history, cookies, IP addresses, etc., and internal data, such as online banking transaction history, card purchase history, balances, etc., to give targeted website content. The possibilities for engaging new and existing customers are endless using constantly changing website content. Mark Ryan Craig McLaughlin
Ascent Platform Offering over 20+ pre-built workflows for online deposit and loan applications that can be customized to a bank’s product and underwriting requirements. Ascent can also auto-fill customer data using bank and third party data. A great option for smaller banks and credit unions that don’t have the luxury of IT development resources to build their own customized onboarding and application interface. A huge PLUS, Ascent automatically integrates with some of the well known core systems ncino, FIS, Jack Henry, etc. The customer facing interface and experience was very impressive! Safari SOP I didn’t think I would walk away with a legal documents/subpeona company on top of the list…BUT Safari has developed a stellar system that streamlines the legal document intake process (no more insecure emails and manual excel sheet inputs 😇), email response templates (no more manual typing responses to each requester), and a robust tracking system (don’t miss deadlines)! Not only that, but Safari has a built in system that banks can recover the costs of producing documents (which is already allowed by statutes but often times banks don’t take advantage of it because it’s time consuming and clunky). For my compliance friends, this is worth looking into. Tom Melling Mark Hentschell
Transvision Solutions a full scale AML and Fraud monitoring solution that has all the requirements we expect but also some very unique additions that I haven’t seen in other providers on the market. I threw in Transvision because of a couple items that stood out to me: determination of the founders that have built the platform (and not trying to over complicate, just providing what we need), the ease and look/feel of the UI for Analysts, data integration capabilities, intriguing CDD/EDD features not seen in other platforms, and built-in model validation tools that were impressive to see.
