    The "Art" of Going “Viral” Is it an art? Is it an equation? Or is it just luck of the draw? In 2015, when I started my video making career, the idea of “going viral” intrigued me immensely. The fact that you could upload a video and be seen by millions overnight seemed like the opportunity of a lifetime. I studied other viral creators for years & even got a job at an ad agency to learn more about social behaviors. and in 2020, TikTok gave me the chance to put my learnings to the test. Today, my own channels have a combined 3.5 billion views and 10 million fans. Yet, I still question if I know what i'm doing. That is, until I put my knowledge to the test with something completely different - Final Boss Sour. With my decade of studies and well thought out hooks, the brand has amassed 50+ million organic views and nearly 200,000 fans in under a year. Even with big hits in the past, our most recent spot gaining traction hit different. When I wrote it, I knew it was going to blow up. The whole team did. But upon uploading it flopped. Hard. Often times the content you think is going to pop, flops. And the content you think is going to flop, pops. I'm too veteren to linger on failed attempts at virality, so I moved on and started writing my next video. But on Monday morning the team notified me that our video was exploding on YouTube. I was as giddy as a school boy whose absent father remembered to pick him up from class. It wasn't only the views, but the comments. In a world full of garbage ads, we made something for the people. This video aided us in having our biggest drop yet. Do it once, call it luck. Do it twice, might be on to something. Do it 4 years straight, write a book on it 🤣

    ❗️A Message From The Final Boss on National Sour Candy Day❗️ ✉️ Dear Gooberlandians, Happy National Sour Candy Day, especially to all the whiny creatures who are unhappy with my ruthless rule since returning from 80 years of exile. On this holiest of days, let us remember the rich heritage of the celebration. Let us honor the mid-level brand exec at some Big Sour Co. who sent enough signatures to some company with no real authority to designate the holiday. Our forefathers tell us that despite the accomplishment, the act did not make up for a year of poor productivity and the patron exec again was given just the mid-tier of annual bonuses. While trapped in an expired pickle jar for 80 years, I counted the days in cucumber seeds and dill flakes to make sure I never missed this day. I celebrated by reciting the Regal Theater’s pre-movie policy reminder and refreshments plug. It kept me sane. And now that I am back in sour power I want to take a break from enacting revenge on the realm that banished me and wish you all a joyous National Sour Candy Day.     📱🚀 20 million views later… Our Final Boss Sour commercial has organically reached 20 million views on YouTube Shorts, within 1 month of posting, and just 2 months of the brand’s launch. Because the video’s longer than 60 seconds, we posted it as a part 1 (16M views) and part 2 (4.7M views). 🧐 At this point, you may be asking- “how?” ➡️ Virality is never fully predictable.
