What’s wrong with the current healthcare model? ➡️Too many people are falling through the cracks ➡️Limited access to preventative services ➡️Significant barriers to care Getting preventative care reduces the risk of disease, disabilities, and death − yet millions of people in the United States don’t get recommended preventative health care services. The U.S. has the highest health expenditure per capita of all Western and developed countries; however, only 8% of Americans undergo routine preventative screenings. We asked you and 92% referenced the barrier and complexity due to insurance, 94% referenced the current primary care systems having silos/no collaboration and coordination across specialties, and 100% referenced ACCESS as one of the biggest issues in healthcare.
