By 2030, the #offshore #wind industry is projected to invest a monumental $65 billion towards projects — estimated to support 56,000 U.S. jobs, according to the American Clean Power Association (ACP)’s latest #OffshoreWind Market Report. Although the U.S. remains behind other countries in operating offshore wind capacity, the successful launch of offshore wind projects this year marks a significant shift. The country is lifting offshore wind to be critical part of our #cleanenergy system, and OW Ocean Winds, ENGIE and EDP Renewables’ 50/50 joint venture in fixed and floating #offshorewind, is proud to support this growth in North America with three offshore wind projects in development in the U.S. For more offshore wind insights, read the report here: https://bit.ly/3S0vtTH. #MarineEnergy #WindPower #CleanTechInvestments #EnergyInnovation #SustainableJobs #RenewableInfrastructure #GreenPower #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergyFuture #RenewableProjects
Our new Offshore Wind Market Report shows that across 37 offshore wind leases in the U.S. there are now 56 GW of capacity under development, enough electricity to power the equivalent of 22 million homes. Forward progress on our clean energy future. More: https://bit.ly/3S0vtTH

The U.S. rising to #5MillionSolar this year showcases the exponential growth of our industry. As Abigail Ross Harper, President and CEO of Solar Energy Industries Association, puts it, “It took us 40 years to go from one to one million, and then it only took eight years to go from one million to five million.” As we work towards our 2045 #NetZero ambitions, we look forward to what our rising progress will accomplish. #WithENGIE #SolarEnergy #CleanTech #SustainableGrowth #RenewableEnergy #GreenInnovation #EnergyTransition #ClimateAction #FutureOfEnergy #EnergyLeadership #SolarIndustry #RenewableFuture #ZeroCarbon #EcoFriendlyTech #CleanEnergyRevolution #GreenEnergyGoals
State by state, community by community, #solar is skyrocketing. The U.S. reached #5MillionSolar installations earlier this year — a "monstrous" milestone for solar's growth.

Accelerated investment in #renewables is essential to the #netzero energy transition. ENGIE’s #cleanenergy growth priorities power our investments into a #sustainable future — with more than 7 GW of renewable generation capacity in operation or construction in North America. International Energy Agency (IEA)
Achieving key COP28 energy outcomes requires a major increase in investment Tripling global renewable capacity by 2030 requires doubling investment in renewables, grids & storage Doubling energy efficiency progress this decade means tripling spending 👉 https://iea.li/3X6FSAy

The Yucaipa Valley Water District (YVWD) has broken ground on a state-of-the-art #cleanenergy water and #wastewater project in collaboration with ENGIE. With the increase in power outages and Public Safety Power Shutoffs across #California, communities are facing massive pressure to find new ways for critical operations to not be impacted by grid outages. By leveraging the estimated $82 million in project savings, ENGIE can deliver resiliency to critical facilities and reduce #energy costs significantly. Learn more about how the project is ensuring the YVWD #community remains safe and operational here: https://lnkd.in/gFfvYnbt

Customers are increasingly willing to pay a premium for green energy, encouraging policymakers to boost incentives and create market opportunities for providers. ENGIE is uniquely positioned to lead this shift, aiming for 30 GW of renewable energy sales by 2030 and expanding into markets not yet open to competition. See more about these trends and opportunities here. https://lnkd.in/gTmFQNbF

The opportunity to come together and exchange insights on the #energytransition is both an honor and a necessity, as both #renewables and the energy demand grow significantly. Thank you to Sayun Sukduang, our Chief Supply Officer in North America, for your engaging presence at the Reuters Events Global Energy Transition Conference. Our energy #experts are proud to drive forward the customer-focused, cost-effective and reliable energy system of a #netzero future.
Thrilled to reflect on my recent talk at the Reuters Global Energy Transition conference, where I joined Sarah Mihalecz of CEBA to explore the pivotal role of consumers and energy storage in navigating load growth. The energy landscape is evolving, with decentralization and digitalization reshaping grid balance. The rise of renewables, weather impacts, and geopolitical factors introduce new challenges and opportunities. As U.S. electricity demand is projected to double by 2050, a shift in energy consumption habits is essential. ENGIE is at the forefront, targeting carbon neutrality by 2045 and fostering a customer-centric, greener, and cost-effective energy system. A heartfelt thanks to Sarah, Reuters Events, and all participants for a stimulating exchange. Your insights are key to propelling sustainable energy. #WithENGIE #EnergyTransition #RenewableEnergy #EnergyStorage #Sustainability #CustomerEngagement #GET24

The future of #NetZero is not just about data, or even digitalization, it’s about human interaction. We have a responsibility to collaborate and evolve the #energytransition together. Our Chief Renewables Officer and Sr. VP of North America Dave Carroll recently took the stage with fellow clean energy advocates from Arcadis, Mitsubishi Power Americas, Phillips 66, and WSP at the Global Energy Transition Reuters Events to advocate for the importance of global stewardship in order to drive positive change in the industry.
As an industry, we should spend more time talking about the economic benefits of the #cleanenergy transition. What are the returns? How are we adding value to our stakeholders and most importantly, how can we be more efficient and smarter in our energy usage? We are a more interconnected globe than ever before, with opportunities to both buy and operate at scale to maximize our supply chain. Connecting a vital supply to a vital demand is a key to success. As we make investments today that will outlast several presidential terms, we have a responsibility to drive #energyefficiency by assuring people understand what’s in it for them. Thank you @reuters-events for the opportunity to help drive the global stewardship conversation with fellow #energytransition leaders Marc Chabot Zhanna Golodryga, Heather Polinsky, PMP, F. SAME and Bill Newsom at the Global Energy Transition event in New York City last week. #GET24 #WithENGIE
