PlexiClot achieves hemostasis in Porcine Liver Abrasion model much more quickly and with a much higher and consistent success rate than current standard of care, without manual compression or use of Thrombin. European Patent Office has notified the Company that it intends to grant a patent for the Company’s PlexiClot™ Absorbable Hemostat device. The allowed claims will protect the device’s composition of matter, method of manufacture, and the key features that provide PlexiClot’s unique mechanism of action. “We are pleased to have achieved this milestone.
