🔥🔥Oatmeal Health is very excited to participate in the inaugural Cancer X program under the Biden Moonshot program. 🔥🔥 Ashish Basuray, PhD, Yuri Ahuja, MD PhD, Ryan LaRanger, Ph.D., and I are proud to offer our support to Federally Qualified Health Centers around the country by providing no-cost lung and breast cancer screening, clinical support, and AI technology fully funded by CMS. Our goals are to address the health equity disparities that exist and offer our patients the ability to live healthier and longer-lasting lives. What is Oatmeal Health: Oatmeal Health's AI-powered cancer screening platform employs machine learning to predict patients’ eligibility for cancer screening. Oatmeal then aids in scheduling screening appointments, provides rides and incentives for screening, performs an AI risk assessment to evaluate the likelihood of nodule malignancy, and delivers culturally sensitive education to encourage regular breast and lung cancer rescans. AI-Enabled Cancer Screening as a Service for Underrepresented Patient Populations of FQHCs and Health Plans
About us
WHAT IS OATMEAL HEALTH? Oatmeal Health is an AI-enabled specialty cancer screening clinic focused on providing early-detection, health equity, and care coordination services for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Health Plans. We are fundamentally changing the lives of underserved patients through early identification, preventative screening, and comprehensive high-touch value-based care services, starting with lung cancer. We are veteran-owned and clinician-led. OUR MISSION: Oatmeal Health is committed to reducing disparities associated with different cancer screenings and diagnoses. We are focused on creating solutions to improve health services and outcomes for communities whose members are disproportionately affected by cancer. THE SICKEST GENERATION IN HISTORY Seniors are sick, have limited financial resources, and dramatically underutilize their healthcare, making them a $750B burden on Medicare. Lung Cancer is the Leading Cause of Cancer-Death & 4th Ranked in Funding - We need a cancer screening system, not more ribbons for the 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women that develop cancer in their lifetime. - Only 5% of the 14.5M underserved Americans receive lung cancer screening - Due to limited resources, technology, and staffing at non-profit health centers that serve 30M Americans

CEO @ Oatmeal Health 🫁 AI-Driven Cancer Screening Platform for FQHCs, Payors, Biopharma. Clinical Decision Support | Radiology Risk Assessments | Care Navigation | Clinical Trials = Health Equity
This saddens me and it will only get worse. Oatmeal Health is hoping to improve these statistics by offering AI-enabled radiology and primary care screening services for our resource-constrained FQHC partners at no cost including nursing and radiology staff in person and virtually at each FCHC Thank you National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP for all your support.
🔥 Hot off the presses! "America is not producing enough primary care physicians to meet growing population needs...When we look at the disparities in compensation rates and the nation’s chronic disinvestment in primary care, this workforce exodus shouldn’t come as a surprise." In a new op-ed, NACHC CEO Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP, American Academy of Family Physicians CEO Shawn Martin, and Milbank Memorial Fund President Chris Koller team up to take on one of the most pressing challenges facing the U.S. healthcare system: the lack of primary care providers. 👩🏾⚕ They diagnose the cause of the primary care crisis and outline clear solutions to deliver the comprehensive, affordable care Americans so desperately need. Spoiler: Community Health Centers have a big role to play. 📍 Read the full op-ed in Healthcare Dive: https://lnkd.in/ehmqHB8U #ValueCHCs #FMRevolution #Healthcare #CommunityHealth
