Through creative youth development, beautification projects, public outreach, and paid opportunities for BIPOC creatives, ET actively addresses forms of systemic injustice. . In centering on youth who are persistently experiencing the devastating consequences of inequality, Elevated Thought provides opportunities for youth and communities to expand their understanding of art's liberating power.

MA Appleseed staff headed to Lawrence this weekend with the Center for Law and Education for the Family2Family Conference! We loved getting the opportunity to connect with community members and share resources on school discipline and educational justice advocacy. Huge thanks to Massachusetts Education Justice Alliance for inviting us to participate in this amazing day of listening, resource-sharing, and movement-building, and we’re so grateful to all the community members who came out and shared their experiences and insights. Special thanks as well to Diana Santiago from our friends at Massachusetts Advocates for Children, who delivered a powerful advocacy workshop on the rights of immigrant and multilingual students, and to Elevated Thought for welcoming us all into their beautiful space.
