Greenbush – The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center serves learners of all ages through partnerships with schools, communities, and agencies statewide. Underlying our diverse range of services and supports is one central mission: to ensure equal educational opportunities for all. Greenbush began in 1976 to help schools pool resources and stretch their dollars through collaborative projects. From professional development to grant writing; from special education services to cooperative purchasing; from home-based parent education to overnight camping adventures; Greenbush leads the way in ensuring every learner has access to the resources they need to succeed.

  • Word Recognition X Language Comprehension for Early Childhood met today at Greenbush (Girard). Presenters Kim Perentis, Stephanie Oliver and Andrea Scott had this “make-and-take" session to build materials to equip and empower educators to effectively build foundational literacy skills in their students. The customizable consonant chart and vowel valley, made by Candice Campbell, was available so attendees could align it with their word recognition resources.

  • The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center is seeking applications for an Occupational Therapist at Greenbush - Topeka. Anticipated Start Date: 8/1/2024.   • KSDE Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Frank Harwood and KSDE Director of School Finance Dale Brungardt, presented the 2024-25 KSDE Budget Workshop today at Greenbush (Girard) with 120 in attendance. The 2024-25 budget document was reviewed as well as discussion held around the new school finance bills passed by the 2024 Legislature.
