  • 🌟 Curious about how the Poverty Simulation© works? Here's the scoop: The Community Action Poverty Simulation© breaks stereotypes by diving deep into the real-life stories of those living in poverty. Poverty isn't just a standalone issue - this simulation lets you step into their shoes and understand the intricate web of challenges they face. Participants become one of 26 different families, living the reality of poverty for a month. Local volunteers step in as community service providers and businesses to make the experience authentic. After the simulation, meaningful discussions spark. Reflecting and sharing give insights into the daily struggles of low-income individuals. Most importantly, this tool sparks change. It helps identify areas where we can directly impact poverty's effects on individuals, families, and communities. #PovertySimulation #EmpowerChange 💡🤝 For more click this link: https://hubs.la/Q02t_17G0

  • What does an Early Interventionist: Occupational Therapy (OT) do? They help with barriers that affect young kids’ emotional, social, and physical needs. Using activities that cover everything from motor skills to sensory processing, OTs help kids learn, grow, and become ready for school. “Working for Greenbush gives you a deeper level of connection than you get from working at a school or hospital,” says OT Kristi Denny. “You’re not just trying to rehabilitate kids and get them home as quickly as possible. You really get to know the family.” If you’re a trained therapist who is self-driven and interested in helping families with young kids, check out our job openings today! https://hubs.la/Q02GcGwl0
