About us
People are what matters most in almost every field — especially in social impact organizations. Yet default practices reinforce existing structures, costing organizations the genius and diversity they need. Edgility does more than run executive searches — we help organizations bring practice and structure into alignment with values. We look at the data, ask the tough questions and—when we need to—disrupt the status quo. We’ve learned that real change can’t come from relying on the same systems and “best practices” that got us here in the first place. Our clients want to live up to their values, but it’s not always easy to know where to start. They need a trusted guide to get there. We walk them through an equity-driven process focused on finding, hiring and retaining exceptional leaders, developing transparent compensation programs, and building inclusive environments where employees thrive. This is the new standard. And we challenge everyone to meet us here.

Serena Moy and our Edgility Consulting search team did a brilliant job of supporting Marin Promise Partnership on this important CEO search. Thrilled for the org and Richard Raya on this match. As a graduate of San Rafael High (in one of MPP’s target communities), this search is close to my heart and means so much personally as well as professionally. Can’t wait to see what the future will hold for my home community and its families and youth with Richard at the helm.
I am proud to announce that I will be the new CEO of Marin Promise Partnership. My charge will be to help improve academic results across Marin County. In order to do so, we must work collectively to attack poverty. Marin is one of the most beautiful counties in the Bay Area, but it is also the most racially segregated and it has the highest poverty rate. These things did not happen by accident, but because of a history of government-endorsed redlining and other discriminatory practices, so we require intentional, place-based policies and practices to change them. Community leaders are already coming together for a more equitable Marin County, and I am eager to join them in this work, bringing with me the collaborative, community-driven framework used by Mission Promise Neighborhood and other StriveTogether communities across the country. I start this new role late next month, and in the meanwhile I will continue writing my book about place-based collaboration and serving as a Senior Advisor to the Promise City initiative in San Francisco. I am honored to be part of this local and national movement for community-driven systems change. Read more about it in our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/gTiTb9Pg #SystemsChange
