ECU Health Medical Center hosted Greene County Summer Boot Camp middle school students, offering tours of the hospital and explored various health care careers through tours and activities, including visits to the Inpatient Rehab Gym and the EastCare helipad. The students also packed beach pails with summer-themed items and made cards for pediatric patients at Maynard Children’s Hospital. 

ECU Health Medical Center VolunTeens soared to new heights with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour led by ECU Health EastCare! 🚁 As part of the annual leadership sessions, VolunTeens had the opportunity to learn about the history of EastCare, explore the helicopter, tour the radio tower and even witness a landing during a patient transport!

Last month, Dr. Brian Brodish completed his 100th Inspire procedure, an FDA-approved treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) designed for patients who cannot use Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy.
