This May, Mustaches for Kids Omaha raised over $1M for seven local Omaha charities (Nebraska Diaper Bank, Partnership for Kids, Collective for Hope, Memories for Kids, Miss Amazing, Dancing Beyond Limits, & Camp Quality Heartland). Dvorak Law Group had a great team of stache-growers who raised just over $36,000 total. Special shoutout to Kris Covi, who not only personally raised $20,130, but who has fearlessly helped lead this initiative in Omaha since its inception. Congrats also to John Svoboda, who ranked second in the rookie category, raising $5,650! Way to go gentlemen! Nurturing young talent and fostering professional growth are core competencies of Dvorak Law Group's Summer Associate Program. We had a great time with Katie as she led our law clerks through The "Working Genius" program, where they dived deeper into the type of work that brings maximum satisfaction and the importance of a well-rounded team. This is just one of the many ways we invest in our team's future!
On Monday, I kicked off the work week with a Working Genius workshop at the beautiful Dvorak Law Group, LLC offices in Omaha! As I rolled out of bed early that morning, I felt immense gratitude for the work I get to do. Facilitating workshops is a part of one of Working Geniuses and I could feel that sense of excitement and energy this week! ❤️ One of my favorite parts of Working Genius team workshops is the energy of the room as everyone starts to unpack their individual assessment. As we honor and understand our individual Working Geniuses, we access joy, excitement and fulfillment in the work we do. And, we can get a sense of relief understanding that some types of work are frustrating for us - and that’s okay (someone else has that as their Genius)! The conversation, energy and insights of the team I worked with on Monday made for a deeply fulfilling way to start my week! Thank you for allowing me to serve your team with a better understanding of themselves and their Working Geniuses, Competencies and Frustrations! 🙌🏼
