On July 7th, Harbor City International School graduate and CJ Ham Family Scholarship Recipient, Amaia, along with her family, had the incredible opportunity to meet our hometown hero, CJ Ham, at his Duluth football camp! 🏈 Why It Matters: The proceeds from this camp directly support the CJ Ham Family Scholarship, dedicated to helping diverse students pursue higher education. Growing up in Duluth, CJ Ham overcame numerous challenges, including financial barriers, to achieve his dreams. This scholarship aims to improve BIPOC retention and graduation rates by providing essential financial support. Join the Movement: Support the scholarship by visiting Corktown Deli and trying their newest menu item, the "CJ Hammer Slammer”! 🥪 With every delicious bite, you’re contributing 15% of the sales to the CJ Ham Family Scholarship Fund. Thank You, Duluth: We’re grateful to the Ham Family and Essentia Health for making these opportunities possible.

⛳ ☀ Friday was a fantastic day for the "Golf: Fore the Greater Good" Tournament! Hosted by our affiliate partner, Apostle Islands & Chequamegon Bay Area Community Funds, this dedicated group of local volunteers has been raising funds and making grants to tackle the community’s most pressing needs since 2001. With over $1 million granted to local nonprofits, their impact is truly remarkable. A heartfelt thank you to Chequamegon Bay Golf Club, the generous sponsors, the dedicated AICB board members, and, of course, all the golfers who made the day a success! Embracing the spirit of Flag Day, the tournament was red, white, and blue themed.
