What does “defend your mental health” mean? Defending your mental health means making your mental health a priority. It means reducing stressors you can control, and increasing the use of support, including mental health services. Mental health is health . No matter what you are facing, you don't have to go at it alone. It's OK to ask for help. Learn more about mental health resources and the Real Warriors Campaign here: https://lnkd.in/eaxZU-VX

Improving Health and Building Readiness. Anytime, Anywhere—Always.
About us
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality health care services? Do you have a burning desire to serve and protect our country from global threats? If you answered yes to both questions, then come check out the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The DHA is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high quality health services to 9.5 million Military Health System beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS. The DHA oversees the delivery of health care services like the TRICARE Health Plan, pharmacy, public health, and health information technology. DHA carries out these operations using a global health care network of military and civilian medical professionals and more than 400 military hospitals and clinics. This network strengthens the delivery of health care to MHS beneficiaries by merging proven clinical and business practices and emphasizing the experience of the patient. Exciting changes are taking place as we are in the process of reorganizing how we manage the military’s medical centers, hospitals and clinics around the world, shifting administration and management responsibility for these facilities from the Army, Navy and Air Force to the Defense Health Agency. A single integrated system will support improvements to the readiness of our operational and medical forces to meet our missions around the world, while providing outstanding care to all of those who depend on us, on the battlefield and at home. Are you ready to unite your passions for service to our country and health care delivery? Come join DHA and let’s get started!

Defense Health Agency reposted this
Combat Casualty Care Conference: APPRAISE-HRI "Over 90% of combat casualties die at or near the point of injury before they can be evacuated to a medical treatment facility. Furthermore, the primary cause of death among combat casualties is uncontrolled bleeding, which starves the brain and vital organs of the oxygen they need to survive. The APPRAISE-HRI application can stratify the risk of hemorrhage within 10 minutes, greatly assisting medics in triaging casualties in prolonged field care scenarios with limited resources in time to improve their chances of survival." Dr. Jaques Reifman will present an overview of APPRAISE-HRI on July 11th. He leads the team that developed, tested and obtained regulatory clearance for the application. Presentation will follow patient case review. #TraumaMedicine #AI #Triage Source: “FDA Clears First AI Software for Hemorrhage Triage of Combat Casualties”
