Great to see another one of our clients taking off with the Activator Development System, this time with our Senior Associate programme. Head of Learning & Development - APAC (Hogan Lovells) | Executive Coaching | Organizational Development | People & Culture | Leadership
Last week we finished our Hogan Lovells APAC Senior Associate Intensive 2024: Becoming a Trusted Advisor program. This hybrid program, with virtual modules and an in-person program in Tokyo, covered essential topics for our new Senior Associates including career development, understanding profitability, business development, leadership, and more. It was fantastic to see our 2024 cohort* build connections throughout the program (including bonding whilst working through some intense profitability equations – as you can see in the photo with lots of concentration and calculators!). Thank you to everyone who contributed to the program and shared their invaluable expertise with our Senior Associates. Lloyd Parker (Regional Managing Partner – APAC), Phoebe A Wilkinson (Global Managing Partner for Growth), Samantha WAN (Head of HR – APAC), Helena Wong (Head of Finance – APAC), Karen Freeman and Remona Moodley (from DCM Insights), Anna Liddell (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Responsible Business Manager – APAC), and Catriona Robinson (Head of Pitches, Pursuits & Business Intelligence). As always, a big thank you goes to our partner sponsors, Tomoe Takahashi and Mark Lin, for sharing their wisdom and experience with the Senior Associates. And to Janice Cheng and Shantay Cong for being open and candid, and thoughtfully answering our Senior Associates’ questions. The program wouldn't happen without the coordination of Trevor Wong in our brilliant APAC L&D team. It’s not goodbye to the program just yet – it’s see you soon! We’re looking forward to getting everyone back together from some follow on BD modules in August and September! * Wei Lun Koh, Utkarsh Mishra, Jessica Li, Sean Mei, Yasuyuki Shirabe, Amelia Lee, Valentina Zhuge, Akiko Miyoshi, Michael Kosuge, Mizue Kakiuchi, Mark Lee, Shi Jin Chia, Han L. Be The Change. Thank you to Gail Jaffa and PSMG LLP for hosting a great day yesterday at the PSMG BD & Marketing Conference. Alexander Liddle did a great role of being Chair for the day, keeping us all in check, and focussing the attention on "Sales" in Professional Services. Excellent keynotes from Clive Garfield sharing perspectives of group think and bias - and how this can impact judgement and decision making.
