In 2022, Covanta was acquired by EQT, and With a global network of Waste-to-Energy and material processing facilities, Covanta is a leader in sustainable waste and energy solutions. Every year we process approximately 21 million tons of waste, recycle more than 500,000 tons of metal and generate enough clean, renewable energy to continuously power more than one million homes. Our mission is simple—to ensure no waste is ever wasted.
