  • It's time for another #KCultureSpotting! 🇰🇷✨ We're exploring how Korean Culture and the Korean American community are being represented in the latest news articles and highlighting Korean American contributions and influence. This week's post highlights a historic milestone with the confirmation of Korean American Judge Meredith Vacca to the United States District Court for the Western New York Circuit. A Western New Yorker and University at Buffalo’s School of Law graduate, Judge Vacca is the first Asian American and woman of color to serve on the district’s bench. Having previously served as Assistant District Attorney and Monroe County Judge, her confirmation marks a significant step forward in diversifying the federal judiciary. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer celebrated this as a "historic moment" for Western New York, noting that Judge Vacca will bring "great talent, experience, and respect for the law" to her new role. Join us in celebrating Judge Vacca’s groundbreaking achievement and her continued dedication to justice! 🇰🇷🇺🇸 Subscribe to the CKA Newsletter and be the first to receive updates on events, community initiatives, and news like this: https://hubs.li/Q02Kzkp80 ➡️ Scroll to see more stories. 💙 What recent news related to Korean culture and the Korean American community has inspired you lately?
