INC FEMALE FOUNDER 2024!
I am underrepresented in my profession and as a founder, and because of this it's hard for people to take a chance on me. Women founders get 2% of VC dollars and it's even less for women of color. I would be remiss if I didn't take the time to thank the VCs who have taken this chance and are on this ride with me. Heidi Krauel Patel, Jenny Abramson, Doba Parushev, Ashley Aydin, Marcos Gonzalez, Xavier Del Rosario, Charlie O'Donnell, Brian Hollins,Aaron Samuels, Armando Pauker Wayne Boulais, Lauren Reeves, Leslie Feinzaig, Jewel Burks Solomon Monique Woodard. I have had some of my darkest days in this last year and they have stood with me, side by side, ensuring that we see this through to the very end.
Karen Kinney, and Lindsay Rodriguez have managed this since before it was ever anything. I trust you with my life and am ever grateful that you are on my side.
Tiffany Piñero Pinero - I have gotten here because of you, and all your love. The best cheerleader, stylist, social media manager - our friendship is something for the books. Thanks for keeping me in line always.
My team has also taken the biggest chance of their lives on me and the vision I have for Culina Health, none of this would be possible without them. I asked them many years ago to leave their very stable jobs, because we were going to do something really big. Without hesitation, they came in, and helped to build this. The days are very long, the work is very hard, and no matter what they are here steering the ship. Big love to Kayleen St.John, MS, RD - the best operator in the game, thoughtful, diligent, and because of her I am certain we will win. Elizabeth Tallerico, MS, RDN, CDN, LDN - you are the MVP - you are the only VP of Clinical Affairs who knows what to do and how to do it, Stacie Velehradsky, Yiwen Looi, Tanya Lucia Bernard, Sarah Kupferberg, Tamar Samuels MS, RD, Robyn Ziemba, MS, RDN, CDN, Audrey Vital-Rosado.
