Ramen isn't the first food to come to mind when you think of sweet treats. Cup Noodles is trying to change that — with a new s'mores-flavored instant ramen. The limited-edition offering combines microwavable noodles with a sauce-based flavor blend of chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers, plus additional mini marshmallows to sprinkle on top. The result: a sweet and gooey dessert you can prepare in just five minutes.

Since the 19th century, haute couture has been bringing together both ancient craftsmanship and the evolving needs of clients, as social backdrops shift and change, aiming to provide a rarefied elegance for the happy few who can afford it. In the wake of last week's Haute Couture Fashion Week and in the midst of the decisive French elections, a general sense of unrest is palpable in the country. Even though politics have been increasingly present on the ready-to-wear runways, the couture collections reflect focus back on the garments, offering quiet excellence for some, and a — much-needed — space for fantasy for others. https://cnn.it/45NuXOs

Australians will need to present a doctor’s prescription to a pharmacist to buy vapes, and the choice will be limited to three flavors: mint, menthol and tobacco. Dozens of countries have banned disposable vapes, but with the ban on vape sales in shops, service stations and other small retailers, Australia has introduced “world leading” laws, according to the government. Australian authorities say the move spells the end of colorful branding and fun flavors that authorities say was a ploy to get children hooked on nicotine.

“Inside Out 2” has become the fastest-ever animated film to surpass $1 billion globally, shooting past the box office milestone this weekend, just 19 days after its release. The movie is the highest grossing film of the year, and the first to pass $1 billion since “Barbie,” which came out last July. It also joins the ranks of eight other Disney and Pixar movies grossing more than a $1 billion, including “The Incredibles 2,” “Finding Dory,” both “Frozen” movies and the final two “Toy Story” installments. The resounding success of “Inside Out 2” has jolted a sluggish 2024 box office. Until the film’s release on June 16, domestic sales had been lagging more than 25% behind 2023’s performance, according to Comscore data.

A gifted tween who had memorized the periodic table at age 2 and has taught lectures at colleges in India since he was 7 graduated from high school last week in New York's Nassau County. Suborno Isaac Bari, 12, plans to start studying math and physics at New York University in the fall, and he's already got his ambitious sights set on beginning a doctoral program. "I hope to graduate college at 14 in spring 2026," said Suborno, who became the youngest graduate from Malverne High School. "If I ever decide to do a second Ph.D., it will be in physics, but mainly I want to focus on math." Suborno was introduced to education early on by his parents, Rashidul and Shaheda Bari, both teachers. They noticed their youngest son was exceptionally bright as they taught him basic math as a toddler. Suborno plans to continue his family's trend of teaching by one day becoming a math and physics professor. "It's absolutely insane," he said about starting at NYU in the fall. "I can't wait for all the opportunities I'll have, I'll be able to meet people who are actually interested … fully in math and science, and people who are also majoring in math and physics and who want to find out these mysteries behind the universe."
