Community Legal Services of Prince George's County, Inc. witnessed the significant impact of the laws that created Maryland’s ACE programs, and funding through ACE programs has allowed them to increase staff to ensure they can meet increased demands for ACE. Without continued funding, CLSPGC would not be able to continue to do the work it does, and it would likely result in a significant reduction in staff and, consequently, an increase in unrepresented tenants who are more vulnerable to eviction. CLSPGC supports passage of SB756/HB1050 to provide statewide funding for ACE. #fullyfundACE #justice
