🚨 BP predicts peak oil by 2025: a game-changer for energy 🛢️📉 In a stunning forecast, BP, one of the world's top 5 oil & gas producers, anticipates peak oil demand next year. They project a peak of 102M barrels/day in mid-2025, driven by the rapid adoption of wind, solar, and EVs. BP expects oil's share in the global energy mix to decrease from 33% to 25% by 2050, while renewable energy capacity is set to increase 8-fold. Have you ever wondered how forests impact our fight against climate change? 🌳 This infographic by Nature Portfolio shows that over the past 35 years, forests have been vital carbon sinks, absorbing carbon equivalent to half of all global greenhouse gas emissions. Regional differences highlight varying challenges and successes.
