🌇 Today, the PUC unanimously approved the final site permit for the third major solar project to fully replace the Sherco coal plant. Today, CEEM Director of Government Affairs George Damian visited the new Xcel Energy Sherco site where 6-8,000 new solar panels are installed daily. The 710-megawatt solar project is creating union jobs in a coal community and will pilot long-duration storage technology.
