Now Hiring: Planning Technician Salary: $60,528.00 - $95,180.80 Annually This is an entry-level position that will be filled as a Senior Permit Specialist with the working title of Planning Technician. The City of Irvine is seeking a positive, proactive, solutions-oriented professional to serve in the Planning and Development Services Division for the Community Development Department. The Planning Technician provides daily technical and professional support to the Planning Division team, primarily assigned to the public counter, so the ability to serve customers at the in person and on the phone is an integral component of the job. The Planning Technician will have the opportunity to cross train with our various planning teams (Advance Planning, Project Data Management, and Current Planning) to advance their knowledge of the planning field expose the staff member to a wide variety of current planning projects as well as administrative processes.
