The City of Webster Groves is hiring an Accountant in our Finance Department! This position assists the Finance Department in overall operations including accounting, budgeting, recording, reporting of financial transactions, and account reconciliations. An ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, a minimum of five (5) years of governmental accounting experience, and the ability to pass an extensive background check. They would have the ability to perform detailed work accurately and independently, communicate detailed and sensitive information effectively and confidentially, and possess the skill of organization and time management to prioritize duties with a high volume of work that constantly changes in priority.
