The City is delighted to announce that Deputy Director of the Community Development Department Zach Dahl, who has led the Department on an interim basis since July 2023, has been appointed to permanently fill the role of Director! Zach is an ideal fit for this role with over 22 years of urban planning experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.   In his words, "I am excited and humbled by the opportunity to lead the City's Community Development Department. A graduate of the Municipal Clerk Institute and an active member of the California Association of City Clerks, Martin is an ideal fit for the role of City Clerk. With over a decade of experience in local government and deep familiarity with the City, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. As City Clerk, Martin will supervise municipal elections and the City’s Boards and Commissions, manage the records and archives, and oversee City Council meetings, among other duties.
