The Climate Investment Funds is pioneering the world's first joint operational Multilateral Climate Fund (MCF)-supported investment program addressing climate resilience. 🚀   We're proud to be working in collaboration with our multilateral development bank partners, Asian Development Bank (ADB), African Development Bank Group, Inter-American Development Bank, IFC - International Finance Corporation, and The World Bank and our fellow multilateral climate funds, Adaptation Fund, Global Environment Facility, and the Green Climate Fund. Building on the momentum from our inaugural workshop earlier this year, many of our partners convened this week in Tokyo to advance the design of the Climate Resilience Investment Program. Discussions focused on the prioritization of country leadership, integrating resilience into planning/fiscal cycles, how to strengthen private sector engagement, and easing processes for developing countries' access to climate finance at scale.
