  • This year's Student Art Showcase, a part of Art in Bloom presented by Amazon, was a celebration of creativity, friendship, and the beauty of spring! From vibrant paintings to stunning murals, students from grades K-12 across Washington, DC poured their hearts into their artworks, inspired by the theme "Let's Spring Together." We were thrilled to see so many incredible submissions, each one a unique expression of the blooming cherry blossoms and the spirit of community. But that's not all – this year, we introduced an exciting new element to the program! Eight local artists led guided workshops at eight schools, guiding students in exploring different art mediums and creating stunning mural-style artworks with their classmates. The result? Eight breathtaking murals, each bursting with color and creativity, unveiled at an exclusive in-person event where student artists, their families, and teachers came together to celebrate. These beautiful murals were on display at Petalpalooza last weekend, sharing the students' talent and vision with the world! A huge thank you to all the students, teachers, artists, and supporters who made this year's Student Art Showcase a success. Your creativity and enthusiasm truly brought the spirit of spring to life! #StudentArtShowcase #SpringTogether #CherryBlossFest
