The Center for Audit Excellence (CAE) offers high-quality audit training, technical assistance, and other products and services to audit organizations to build capacity and foster effective accountability. By providing training and technical assistance, CAE helps accountability organizations improve audit skills, sharpen managers’ leadership and supervisory skills, understand and apply internal control and other audit standards, and much more. CAE charges fees for all its products and services to numerous federal, state, local, and international organizations in the United States and around the world. CAE is staffed by staff by senior audit executives and managers who are retired from GAO and government audit organizations.
