This week we had our summer All-Staff, where the Catena team gets together in Chicago for a week of fun and collaboration. On the agenda this time? A Chicago Cubs game and volunteering with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). We had a blast at the iconic Wrigley Field for the game and giving back to FMSC by hand-packing meals that will be sent to children in need. We’re grateful for such a professionally and personally fulfilling week! 🤍

Sales for cold drinks are on the rise, and it's not only due to weather. Earlier this year, Starbucks reported more than 70% of its beverage sales are now from cold drinks, and similar trends can be seen at other major food companies. Why? Cold drinks are harder to prepare at home, and younger generations prefer cold drinks to hot. Additionally, cold drinks are easier to experiment with since steaming can alter flavor elements too much. Read more on this trend from The Food Institute: https://hubs.la/Q02Hg7Ng0 #beverage #trends

Your company implemented a new system but isn’t getting the results it hoped. Unrealistic expectations around advanced technology might be a contributing factor. “Systems may take over mundane tasks, but companies still need people to ensure data is usable and to analyze system outputs. Companies that find technology isn’t producing helpful results may not understand that humans still play a key role.” – Revenue Growth Excellence Practice Director Rich Medrano Learn the essential role humans play in technology implementations: https://lnkd.in/g-_C8GsQ #digitaltransformation
