She and her team assist reps and managers throughout the sales process on everything from contract development and process improvement to reporting and analytics ❤️ Ellie especially loves the fast pace and broad nature of her role, which exposes her to a number of people and functions at CG. Her passion for helping colleagues make their day-to-day work better is a big reason why she won a CarGurus Core Values Award for collaboration 🎨 Ellie expresses her creativity through drawing and painting. Our Mid-Year Review is now live, providing an update on key market trends influencing pricing, demand, and supply. Highlights include: ↘ Prices are moderating: The average price of a used car is $28,496, down 8% year-over-year, while the average new car price is $50,214, down 3.3%. 🚗 Sedans hit the sweet spot: The hunt for affordability is translating to an uptick in demand for new compact sedans. Sales demand for the body style is up 17% year-over-year. ⚡ Oversupply of new EVs is moderating prices: The market days supply for new EVs is 117, compared to 78 for internal combustion engine vehicles and 54 for hybrids.
