Last month Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. delivered 200 fully stocked backpacks to our warehouse to support our Backpacks for Success campaign! In addition to stocking the backpacks with essential supplies, each bag had a note of inspiration attached for our youth. Thank you, Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, for joining our efforts to empower Orange County students! #BackpacksforSuccess #ThankYou #CommunityPartners #EmpoweringStudents #PovertyEndsHere

Earlier this month we hosted our first Mastermind Retreat, welcoming CAP OC leaders across our agency to connect with and empower one another in our mission to end poverty in Orange County. During the 2-day retreat, our managers, directors, and senior leadership participated in strategic trainings, hands-on activities, and team building sessions to learn from one another’s strengths and advance our agency’s goals. Thank you to everyone who joined our mastermind session. We hope you all left feeling inspired by one another and reinvigorated in your work. We are truly grateful for each of the passionate individuals leading our organization. Together, we are the stewards of change. Gregory C. Thank you to Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner for his pivotal support of $500,000 in discretionary funds to help maintain the OC Diaper Bank’s current operations! This essential resource brings diapers to young families at no-cost, alleviating financial burdens that many face as diapers reach upwards of $100 per month, per child. Supervisor Wagner’s support comes at a critical time as the Diaper Bank faces budget constraints of its own, with government funding unlikely to be renewed past July 2024. As we continue to seek alternate funding sources for long-term success of the OC Diaper Bank, we are incredibly grateful for the donations we are receiving locally. If you would like to join Supervisor Wagner and others in supporting the OC Diaper Bank, please visit capoc.org/diaperbank today! Every contribution brings us closer to ensuring the OC Diaper Bank can continue to support young families across Orange County.
