We are very happy to welcome Dr. Donee Alexander to C-Quest Capital.    Dr. Alexander will join us next August 5 as Chief Carbon Officer. In this role, she will oversee carbon asset management, including research, policy, methodology, carbon accounting, and quality control – seeking to ensure the highest quality and integrity in CQC’s carbon credit production.   Recognized leader in household air pollution, Dr. Alexander previously served as Chief Science and Learning Officer at the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA). She has advanced the scientific understanding of health and climate benefits associated with clean cooking. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Washington and has led significant research at the University of Chicago.   We look forward to integrating her world-class perspective into our work. Today we welcome Jules Kortenhorst as CEO of C-Quest Capital. Ken Newcombe, C-Quest Capital Founder, will move to the role of Vice Chairman, continuing to oversee our corporate mission to empower women and communities in rural and peri-urban areas of the world, while combatting climate change. Jules was previously CEO of RMI (formerly Rocky Mountain Institute) for close to a decade, which he grew from a headcount of 50 to over 600 staff. Prior to this role, Jules was the founding CEO of the European Climate Foundation (ECF), the largest philanthropic organization dedicated to policy development and advocacy on climate change in Europe. Jules has also served as CEO for International Operations of ClientLogic Corporation, a global leader in outsourced customer relationship management. Before that he worked for almost 10 years for Royal Dutch/Shell in various roles including managing director of Shell Bulgaria, and he began his career at McKinsey & Co.
