Business Oregon staff had a great time attending and serving as tour guides at the 11th Annual Made in Redmond Tour! This event was hosted by Redmond Economic Development, Inc. to enhance the exposure of the industrial and manufacturing sectors to the community and to provide education on the significance of creating wealth through business expansion and recruitment in Redmond. Events like this one help to create and bolster partnerships and unite the community in supporting their local businesses! The group toured AVID Cider Company, Hardenbrook Hardwoods, Poltex, and Senneca Holdings, among others.

Business Oregon staff learned a lot and made meaningful connections at a recent funders' roundtable at the Warm Springs Indian Reservation. The roundtable was organized by the Ford Family Foundation and The Oregon Community Foundation and was designed to bring funders to Tribal communities to learn about their work. This was the first of several planned funders' roundtables hosted by a Tribe in Oregon.
