A recent update from one of our port co's reminded me of one of the best pieces of advice I've heard in the startup ecosystem. They asked Tim Draper in one of our Boost VC events whether it's better to (1) Raise a boat load of money, or (2) Bootstrap. His answer: “Raise a boat load of money, then bootstrap."
It has been an INCREDIBLE week at Solideon for so many flipping reasons, but anytime a publication such as USA TODAY highlights your company, it’s an honor. At Solideon, we have had AMAZING days and not-so-awesome days. This is all part of building an early-stage startup 🤷🏿♂️. What has never changed is this incredible core group of engineers, designers, tinkerers, and dreamers. I’m amazed and inspired by the men and women who work here. That’s our secret weapon and why the last three months of heads-down transformational change were possible. It’s incredible. Solideon is a love letter to the industrial base. It’s crucial domestically and internationally to have companies that build real technology to jumpstart an industry in desperate need of next level innovation. We have a long way to go, but I am so proud of what we have accomplished in a short amount of time. God is good and faithful. I can’t wait to share more on the customer front, but for now, I am content with our story getting out there and building real transformational technology!
