Thank you Forbes for covering the the efforts of the MECH CADETS creative team at bringing to life a lead character of our show who has a limb difference. It was an honor to work with Josh Sundquist, the brilliant actor who voiced Frank Olivetti on the show, and the incredible writer Ashley Eakin, who wrote the episode focused on Frank-- which happens to have one of the coolest action scenes in the show. One of my favorite quotes from the article: "Sundquist went on to say he believes it’s “super cool” that children growing up today are able to see people on television with disabilities—in the case of Mech Cadets, a limb difference. “I can say I’ve never, ever seen an action hero in an animated series using crutches—and not a prosthesis,” he said of the amputee experience onscreen. “I’ve never seen it. It feels to me personally, groundbreaking and revolutionary.”" MECH CADETS is on Netflix right now-- and is still on the Top 10 TV Show Charts! #animation #comicbooks #graphicnovels #representationmatters #representation #netflix https://lnkd.in/gWuUa2XR
