Last Thursday Body Empowerment Project celebrated the completion of our third full year of programming at our End of Year Event! Over 130 students, staff, volunteers, and community members took part in the celebration with food, awards, prizes, and student speeches. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and to our generous sponsors! Looking forward to more years to come reducing eating disorder risk and building better body image in our young people!

Look forward to continuing to support!  Body Empowerment Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2021 to help empower youth to find body acceptance and self-worth. The organization works to prevent eating disorders in adolescents, specifically in populations that lack access to treatment, representation, and preventive care. Happy International Women's Day! Though eating disorders affect people of all genders, women and girls are disproportionately affected due to increased pressure from society and the media to be thin and conform to unrealistic body ideals. At BEP, we are dismantling the systemic pressure that women face through comprehensive eating disorder prevention programming for our youth.
