🎉 The Paris 2024 Olympic Games kicked off this week! Did you know that some national delegations will use our syndromic solutions to test athletes during the competition? 👉 For example, the Dutch medical team has set up a mini-laboratory in the Olympic Village, equipped with a BIOFIRE® FILMARRAY® TORCH system to detect gastrointestinal infections and a BIOFIRE® SPOTFIRE® instrument to detect respiratory sore/throat infections. The Paris Games involve over 15,000 athletes along with their support staff, making it critical to isolate anyone who is infected and potentially contagious in order to prevent the spread of disease. 🌍 Our first Supplier Virtual Summit "Go Responsible: Collaborative Impact for #Climate" hosted last month was a great success! We recorded more than 700 live connections, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of our supplier community in addressing pressing climate challenges together. 👏 They could participate in the insightful keynote by the renowned glaciologist Dr. Heïdi Sevestre, whose expertise and passion inspired us all. On June 5th, for World Environment Day, they could listen to our executive leaders, Valerie Leylde and Pierre Boulud, share our ambition for the future, and testimonials from our internal and external stakeholders.
