From growing up on my family’s farm to working in the agriculture industry at a leading ag tech company. Like many farm kids, I was actively involved in the National FFA Organzition. FFA helped shaped a young farm kid from a town of less than 700 people to the person who I am today. It’s been 9 years since I officially retired the blue jacket but those words from E.M. BREAKING NEWS: Benson Hill Confirms Receipt of Preliminary, Non-Binding Indication of Interest from Argonautic ST. LOUIS, MO – June 27, 2024 - Benson Hill, Inc. (NYSE: BHIL, the “Company” or “Benson Hill”), a seed innovation company, today confirmed that it has received a preliminary, non-binding indication of interest from Argonautic Ventures Master SPC (“Argonautic”), on behalf of itself and other co-investors (collectively, the “Investor Group”), to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of the Company not owned by the Investor Group or their affiliates for $0.2236 per share in cash. The indication of interest states that the Investor Group and their affiliates currently own approximately 16% of the outstanding shares of common stock of the Company and that the composition of the Investor Group may change. The terms of any potential agreement between Benson Hill and Argonautic, or any other members of the Investor Group, would be contingent on certain conditions, including completion of a due diligence review and the negotiation of definitive transaction documents. Field scouting season is well underway in central Illinois. These Benson Hill ultra high #protein #soybeans looked great and have already reached R2 stage (full flower). The nice green leaves show that these beans’ bacterial partners are hard at work fixing nitrogen so you don’t have to! In a few months, these beans will be made into better feed, better food, and better fuel. Between the windmills in the background and the protein & energy rich beans, this section of American agriculture is well on its way to a more sustainable future.
