Regarding CapEx reserve standards for our industry, Alan Benjamin, ISHC is quoted on his panel at NYU by Hotel Investment Today: "The biggest issue now is that both halves of the 8% [of total revenue] per se are missing. That capital has to come from another source: from the same owner, an outside source, brand key money, whatever it's going to be, to get any type of renovation done."
