Serving the youth of Bucks County through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships, since 1963!
About us
Celebrating over 60 years of service to the community, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Research has consistently demonstrated that a strong connection between a young person and an adult is the most important factor against becoming involved in drugs and crime. To have an adult to talk to, and to engage in a variety of positive activities with, can ultimately redirect a child's life. Children who are matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister are more motivated to stay in school, develop better relationships with family and peers, and create higher goals for their future. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County has been recognized nationally for the past eight years for delivering the highest quality program services. We engaged nearly 300 youth in our community and school base programs in the last calendar year, doubling our numbers. Besides our Community and School based programs we have our Options Program which serves an average of 150 youth in the calendar year. We are one of two agencies nationally that have this unique Options Program. We are so proud across all of our programs to serve upwards of 450 children a year - and growing, with your support!

Please give a warm welcome to our newest board member, Doug Holcombe! Doug is a long-time resident of South Jersey, and he shares his life with his loving wife, two sons, and their chocolate lab Rylee. He is currently an employee benefits consultant, and he has carved a niche in assisting non-profit organizations to enhance their employee benefits programs while simultaneously achieving cost savings. Doug's commitment to the non-profit sector runs deep, influenced by his Mom, who has been the CEO of a South Jersey non-profit for over four decades! Doug's journey into supporting non-profits was significantly shaped by his introduction to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) Bucks County through Lauren Le-Neou. Moved by the organization's mission and the positive impact it has on the community, Doug has since become an ardent supporter of BBBS Bucks County. His passion for non-profits and his professional expertise make him a valuable ally to organizations striving to maximize their resources and serve their communities effectively. Welcome, Doug! We're lucky and grateful to have you apart of the team!

It takes LITTLE to be BIG! Last week, our CEO attended the National Conferences in Dallas, TX. Learn how YOU can make a BIG difference in LITTLE ways!
It Takes Little to Be Big! On Day 3 of the National Conference, we had the privilege of hearing from our youth during a powerful panel discussion. Our young speakers shared their insights and experiences, reminding us of the power of mentorship. We capped off the night by celebrating our BBBSA Alumni Hall of Fame inductees! The Hall of Fame honors former Bigs and Littles who have championed mentorship, featuring changemakers and leading executives whose dedication has left an indelible mark on our organization. Congratulations to this year's inductees: Dale Long, Hill Harper, Dennis Brown, Erin Scanlon, Osawaru Odighizuwa, and Marissa Solis! Thank you for inspiring future generations of Bigs and Littles. #BiggerTogether 💚
