How was your morning?? Ours was pretty busy with our monthly Coffee & Connections event . Thankfully, we had an opportunity to take the Yoga For Everyone and Everyday class with Corine. It was just the reset we needed after a busy morning. Today's class was fun and relaxing. We even got some handouts on Yoga Sutra and some Box Breathing exercises to do at home. Thank you to everyone who came today and to all our supporters who continuously contribute to our mission. Your support is what allows us to provide this program FREE of charge to those who attend. We are forever grateful to our community and Corine for making this possible. We'll be here next Friday at 1130-1230 if you would like to take a few moments of self-care and join us 🧘🏻♂️🧘♀️🕉 #TogetherWeRise #Namaste #OmShanti #Mindfulness #Meditation #Breath #Relaxation #StressRelief #NewProgramming #Impact2024

You may be asking yourself why the picture of today's Coffee & Connections event hosted by our friends at MARS-ATP isn't like the usual photo with the room full of people 🤔 We'll tell ya why... The conversations were flowing, and so incredibly in-depth that we didn't want to interrupt anybody to take a photo. The next thing we know, it was 11:15!! Christopher Yarnell, CPS would like to thank Michael Judkins and Mid-Atlantic Rehabilitation Services (MARS) for hosting today. It was such a great time meeting and talking with him. We look forward to working with him in the future 🤙🏻#TogetherWeRise #MARSATP #TTI #TreatmentTrendsInc #BringingPeopleTogether #ItTakesACommunity #Impact2024

It was absolutely brutal out there. But today, we visited our friends in the unhoused community. We wanted to make sure that they had some basic and important necessities, especially water in this heat 🥵 Our Moravian University Nursing Student interns were available to answer any medical questions or concerns. Christopher Yarnell, CPS teamed with our friends Payton Quick and Lauren Wassum from the Hope Center & Treatment Trends, Inc. Lauren and Payton brought frozen ice pops, which were a huge hit with the friends we encountered. Our student interns got to see how community organizations like TTI and us work together and filling in the gaps. Each organization in our community has a specific service that they provide. When we all work together, we can meet many needs of the people we encounter. Ask us how you can help...🇺🇲 #TogetherWeRise #TTI #TeamBattleBorne #HopeCenter #Outreach #MoravionUniversity #ItTakesACommunity #Impact2024

#MondayMorningMemories Someone once said, "Do not despise small beginnings." 6 years ago, we were a 3 month old organization that started with 4 people and a vision to fill in the gap. We believe in that mission still today. This was our 2nd event with our brothers, The Nam Knights MC - Lehigh Valley Chapter. They will be hosting their 7th annual Vet Fest on July 13th and 14th. Some of our team members were a part of other organizations and attended the very first VetFest 2 years prior. Then, as our own organization in 2018. We are proud to have been there from the start and are looking forward to continuing to be there each and every year moving forward. #TogetherWeRise #VetFest2024 #NamKnightsLVC #Impact2024

Our #WarriorWednesday Shout-Out goes to our sister, Major Natasha Dresher, U.S. Air Force. We just love seeing our military personnel continuing to lead and motivate by example. Christopher Yarnell, CPS has kept in touch with Major Dresher throughout her travels, duty stations and deployments over the years. • #WisdomWednesday #LeadingByExample The pictures below are from 2022 vs. 2024 • I posted my initial post last year but wanted to give an update on the biggest things I’ve learned over the past 2 years: • 📣📣 Consistency, being deliberate, and knowing when to take care of yourself first • Everyone who knows me knows I’m a workaholic. I’m not sensationalizing it, but it’s the truth, and I have always been that way before I joined the AF and still am one. However, these past 2 years, I’ve had to really look at ME and deliberately focus on ME. As an Airman, Officer, wife, mother, sister, friend, and leader. • I tell my troops to have a work-life balance, yet it’s hard for me to practice what I’m preaching. And that’s my biggest pet peeve when leaders don’t do that! 🤨 • So, over the past 2 years, as I’ve tried to adjust and work on my balance, I’ve also worked on my work/life harmony. Balance is important, but so is harmony. There are times work/mission will require more of us... Sometimes, life will require more of us. • Prioritizing my mental and physical health is paying off. 0500 workouts, eating healthier and being more present for my family. I finally got my first 90 on my PT test in my 13 years of service! 💪🏼 • I stopped taking my laptop home during the weekdays because I was up late at night, “trying to get ahead” for the next day.. which really never happened. Having better balance and harmony has made me a better person all around.. I’m still a work in progress, but slow and steady wins the race! Be deliberate and consistent as everyday is another opportunity for a step forward in the right direction to your goals! Always lead by example because you never know who you may be inspiring 💪🏼 🇺🇲 #ItTakesAVillage Wow. Talk about inspiration right there sister 👏🏻 #SheIsBattleBorne #TogetherWeRise #Major #AirForce #Airman #Military #WomenEmpowered #LeadByExample
