After studying journalism and working as a local TV News reporter and anchor, I thought storytelling about my own brand would be easy. I quickly learned it's much more complicated when you're so close to something. Annie Woo and I were very kindly introduced by Jason Murrell at Jimbo's nearly one year ago before BAM was ready for primetime. Amazingly, Jason recognized Annie and I are both positively-minded, passionate people and thought we might enjoy connecting. Fast forward to now, Jason was so right! Annie and I have not only become great friends, but also collaborators. Annie is a #cpg #founder herself (Sweetduet is delicious!) and has ventured into brand storytelling with Sweetstory Media. We worked together to put a series of short, social videos together for BAM as I get America’s first Buckwheat Milk onto store shelves in SoCal.
